It was just a perfect match for a weekend trip in Melbourne with definitely value for money. The room was clean, but the old carpet made it a bit uncomfortable. Bring your own water since there's no complimentary option.

The stay featured excellent customer service, with staff being cute and helpful. I experienced issues with room temperature control that affected my comfort at night. There were some cleanliness concerns regarding items left by previous guests. It's a good option for those looking for a hotel with great service and convenient access to attractions.

I was there for 1 night and ate at casual restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The beds were comfy, view over the city was nice. The pool was lovely and I had warm drinks in the coffee bar. It was nice to get concierge service free of charge too. The location was particularly good and the room was clean.

Excellent staff and location
The staff were super friendly and really knew their stuff. The location was spot on for catching shows nearby. Only thing was the room felt a bit chilly at times, but overall, the buffet breakfast made up for it with great options.

Staying at the marriott was a pleasant experience. Especially during our amazing breakfast. We loved the unique outdoor garden and the fully equipped fitness centre nearby to stay active. And a city view from our king suite was a huge bonus!

The greeting with a glass of sparkling wine was a very nice touch as we had been on the go since 5am, with flights and then business and finally a little longer than expected walk to the hotel from south bank it was an unexpected but very nice suprise. The temporary closure of the pool was not mentioned when I made the booking , which was disappointing to discover only once I entered my room to find a letter as this was one of the key reasons for choosing the Marriott .Credit to them as they did offer an alternative. The room was nice and love the big screen tv first time in any of the many hotels I have stayed in.The was not as comfortable as I would have expected .

Enjoyed the large, comfy room with an amazing shower ! We took full advantage of the sauna and relaxing garden area, which added extra charm to our trip. The breakfast was great but could use more variety to match the overall experience! 😊

We have stayed there many times over many years. I like: * the location * the decor in the rooms, the lobby and bar area * the staff who were excellent, particularly Valerie, the night manager This is an excellent hotel, particular for an American chain hotel. It is friendly and more efficient than others I have stayed at. Keep up the good work
